Each headpiece is made on a 22.5" block (the average ladies head size).
It is traditional for a lady to wear her headpiece on the right hand side of her head.
The hat elastic goes under the nape of the head.
It is recommended that hats with wire feet are worn with an up-do for security,however, this is not essential.
Adjust the malleable wire feet to fit close to your head.
The label on the inside is the centre back of the headpiece.
Julian Garner Headwear is not suitable for wet conditions.
Wool felt hats and headpieces have been given a coat of water repellent incase you are caught in the rain without an umbrella.
If your wool felt product gets wet then simply pack the crown with tissue paper and allow to dry naturally.
Mishapen hats can be easily reshaped, please get in contact via email - JulianGarnerHeadwear@yahoo.com - to organise this.
Store in hat box protecting the whole headpiece with tissue paper in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.
If headpiece becomes misshapen or stained seek professional services.
Julian Garner Headwear delivers goods via Royal Mail for UK deliveries, and alternative courier services for Rest of the World. When your parcel is delivered you will be asked to sign for it as proof of receipt.

Firstly, thank you for making a purchase from www.JulianGarner.com and for your support and belief in the label. We have endeavoured to make the returns process as simple as possible.
You can return or exchange any goods bought from us within 14 days from when you receive them.
If for any reason the product you purchased does not meet your expectations, we are happy to offer an exchange or refund where possible, provided a Returns Number is requested within 7 days of receipt and items are returned to Julian Garner Headwear within 14 days and meet the requirements below.
We regret that we are unable to offer refunds on products that have been made to order or customised. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
•All returns must be in perfect condition and complete with their original tags still attached.
•To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn, unmarked or undamaged and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
•A refund will be issued to the original card that was used for the purchase within 5 days of receipt of the return. This refund will include the full value of the items returned, including UK taxes, but excluding shipping costs and any taxes or import duties incurred.
•If you are shipping an item over £50 (US$75), you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

We will email you on receipt of the goods to confirm that your return will be processed.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, less any taxes or import duties incurred.
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping costs.
Refunds will be credited to the account or card used to originally purchase the items, usually within 5 working days.
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank, there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Upon exchanging a product, you will be eligible to pay a new postage and packaging charge. As part of the returns process, you will be directed to our website where you will be able to pay securely online.
DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, customers within the EU have the right to cancel the contract for purchase of certain goods with Julian Garner Headwear at any time within the seven working days of the day after the day on which the customer receives the goods (the ''seven day cooling off period''). To cancel your contract within the seven day cooling off period please notify us in writing by email JulianGarnerHeadwear@yahoo.com or by post before the expiry of the cooling off period. Please package the relevant goods securely and send them to us. All returns must be in perfect condition and with their original packaging and tags. If we receive notice of your cancellation of this order within the seven day cooling off period, we will refund the purchase price for that item together with any postage charge.
Made to order or customised goods are exempt from this cancellation right.
